This 184 3/8th monster would not have been possible without the Heater Body Suit. I was in a tree stand for 45 hours in northern Saskatchewan with a wind chill that reached -15f at different times during the week. I was only wearing light layers under the body suit so I could draw my bow. I had on a pair of $39.00 hiking boots and never felt a chill the entire week. When I had to lower the Body Suit to glass the deer and make the shot I nearly froze to death. When I took the shot the temperature was -12c with a 25 mph wind and light snow. I shot the deer, got back in the body suite and waited for my guide to pick me up. No expensive close, no fancy boots, just the Heater Body Suit. The best money I have ever spent trying to stay warm.

I recently purchased a heater body suit from your company. First off, it's amazing. I sew and upholster furniture for a living, so I know quality. Everything from the straps to the suit to the zipper are sewn with great quality and attention to detail. I was pleased to check the forecast for opening weekend of bow season and see that a cold front (for Virginia) was moving 30 degree lows and 45 degree highs. I was looking forward to trying out my suit. I walked to my stand with only my Under Armor thermal shirt and pants, scent blocker pants, camo short sleeve t-shirt, and boots (very light for 30 degrees). The carry straps on the body suit make carrying easy. Once in the stand, I waited a few minutes and put on my suit. Even in the stand, it is easy to put on. I was amazed. I stayed warm all morning, and once the temp moved to the upper 40's, I had to unzip the upper portion of the suit because it was keeping me too warm. Even my feet stayed toasty warm. The best part for bowhunting is not having to wear gloves to keep my hands warm. The suspender straps allow you to drop the suit to shoot, which works flawlessly. I had a few small bucks pass by, so I decided to stand up, shrug the suit off my shoulders, and mock like I was shooting. They never even looked up at me. Simply said, this suit is amazing and I have recommended it to everybody in my hunt club. Thanks for a great product.

I purchased one of your Heater Body Suits
after seeing Jim Shockey use it in Saskatchewan. I live and hunt in Maine where the
temperatures can drop below zero routinely during our Muzzleload Season in December.
I also like to use it on days when the temps only reach 30’s. Instead of wearing
extra long johns and a heavy coat I will dress light and carry the suit into my
tree stand. By doing this I avoid getting hot and sweaty so I stay warmer longer
and keep as scent free as possible. This past week in Ohio I was on a late season
Muzzleload Deer Hunt. Expecting temperatures to be cold I shipped my suit to the
Outfitter I was hunting with. I sat for a total of 22 hours over 2 days and shot a
180 class buck while using the Heater Body Suit. I used your suit both dates despite
temps ranging from 20-40 degrees. I was quite comforable in my tree stand because it
kept me warm and gave me some added cushion while sitting. Great product and I look
forward to many more hunts using my Heater Body Suit. Thanks.

I love this suit!! I have hypothyroidism, which results in very low metabolism,
and am extremely sensitive to cold temperatures. If it's below 75°F I am
usually bundled up. I have tried everything I could, to keep warm during the winter
hunt, but usually spend the day shivering, not feeling anything from my legs down
and my hands don't work unless I am holding a hot pack. Kinda takes the joy out of
hunting and spending time outdoors with my husband. I have to be honest, I didn't
expect this product to be any different from anything else I have tried, boy was I
wrong!! The Heater Body Suit kept me warm and I didn't have to wear so many
layers that I couldn't move. Glassing is a breeze and I just tuck my hands back
inside when they get cold. I am hoping that this year I can put a big buck
on the ground and some meat in the freezer. I want to say "Thank You" for
giving me back the opportunity with your amazing Heater Body Suit! No more
chattering teeth to scare away the bucks now!

Hello Heater Body Suit Company,
Just could not go another day without "Thanking You" for a product that really does
work as advertised! My father and I just returned from Alberta, Canada - the Land of
the Giant Whitetail Monster Bucks and what a hunt that was!! The ten day hunt ended
for the both of us on day eight, when we bagged two great bucks within four hours of
one another. We estimated my fathers buck to be in the 140 class and after having
mine gross scored it came in at a whopping 184 1/8 a BOONER - YAA HOO!! Once back
home and sharing our bragging rights with our friends, dad and I were absolutely
convinced, without our Heater Body Suits it would have never been possible. Alberta
temperatures during November can range from 32°Fahrenheit down to -10°
Fahrenheit coupled with a brisk wind can make sitting in an elevated open tree stand
IMPOSSIBLE... UNLESS you own a Heater Body Suit that allows you to stay extremely
comfortable and warm throughout all ten hours of hunting daylight. Another great
benefit we really liked was that even with extreme cold temperatures in the early
mornings, both of us only put on about half of the normal clothing we would normally
wear because after walking approximately three kilometers into our stand locations
we never got sweated up from the long walk. This helped with minimizing our human
scent and after getting settled into our stands before we completely cool down we
jumped into our Heater Body Suits and stayed comfortable the remainder of the day.
Jim Shockey's advertisement is spot on, You Just Don't Get Cold!
Thought I would send this photo of the BOONER... truth be known, I was literally
standing up in my Heater Body Suit with the zipper half down rattling some antler
sheds when this buck charged in behind me and what seemed like a 10 minute stare
down, I finally managed to pull the trigger on this buck!
Thanks again - it's always good to know when money is well spent !!!!

Just wanted to let you guys know that your awesome product was mentioned again
in the season wrap-up for Montana Whitetails.
“The first 2 weeks of November we didn’t have any hunters scheduled which was a
first in 7 seasons. The last 2 weeks of November is always the rut hunting weeks
and we did have a few hunters take advantage of that. The winds where brutal during
some of those rut hunting days which really hampered some of the deer movement. A
lot of the guys stuck it out all day long which is paramount for rut hunting success
here in these narrow river bottoms where buck travel a lot during mid-day. The
Heater Body Suit was working great for those guys so anyone looking to bowhunt the
rut should consider one of those things as they truly work under such cold and windy
conditions.” http://www.montanawhitetails.com/news/fullstory.php
Even though the temperatures haven’t been as brutal back here in Virginia, I’m still
using it religiously. It’s nice to walk to my stand in light clothes; I don’t
overheat and I am completely unencumbered from the burden of heavy clothes when it
is time to draw my bow!

Hello,
Just dropping a line to say how much I love my H.B.S. I can also speak for my
brother, who also has one. Next to my bows or rifles, this is one of the most
important pieces of hunting equipment I own. I live and hunt in Wisconsin, among
other places and whether it's 30 to 40 degrees on the early fall mornings, or
sub-zero in late season I'm not without it. Dress light to walk in and out without
sweating and stay nice and warm on an all day sit. Simply an awesome product and
awesome customer service. I lost my carrying straps and they sent me new ones
overnight. The attached photo is of a buck I shot in early November in Minnesota.
It was in the 30's in the morning and warmed up to high 40's. Really makes the
morning hunts easier and the all day sits, which this was.
Thanks alot!

I just had to pass on how happy I am with the Heater Body Suit. Last fall I decided
that I wanted to experience a rut hunt with a bow in the river bottoms of Montana.
After looking at the hunting journal of Keith Miller at Montana Whitetails
(
http://www.montanawhitetails.com), I realized that I was going
to have to dress very warmly. I looked around and found your product on-line and
deiced to give it a shot. I am very glad I did! The temperatures ranged from
-7°F to just above freezing however the winds wear brutal! I was able to remain
quite comfortable in my Heater Body Suit all day. The following excerpt is taken
from Keith Miller’s hunting Journal for November 15’th, 2011:
(
http://www.montanawhitetails.com/november/?day=15 )
“The other 3 guys are trying to set all day but the winds are keeping things quite
chilly. It was 16 degrees this morning with a steady breeze, then got gusty. We have
had snow storms off and on the last 2 days. Several times now trying to get guys
back out to their stands between 12:30pm-1:00pm where having a hard time getting
around the deer. There's a lot of midday movement but the winds are not helping by
keeping the conditions too brutal to set all day. Rob set all day Sunday and today
he's still out there. He's got the Heater Body Suit and I checked on him at noon
and 2:00pm and he was setting there like a statue. Those things really work under
condition like these.“
Not only was the Heater Body Suit warm, it was also very stealthy. On numerous
occasions I had both bucks and does bedded down within 20 yards of me and I was able
to zip and unzip the suit without raising suspicion. I’m happy to report that I did
eventually fill my tag with a nice 8 pointer. It was the Pope & Young buck I was
looking for (saw them though) but it was a very beautiful buck never-the-less. I
have now returned to Virginia and I’m looking forward to using the Heater Body Suit
through the end of the season as I continue to pursue the deer here.
Thanks for making a great American
Made product! I’ll continue to praise it to all
of my hunting buddies!

I love mine!! It's the best item I've ever purchased for hunting deer. Now I can
sit all day and actually enjoy it!! And I never get cold. Just got back today and
used it every day. I got mine last year, used it during black powder season also
with temps near zero or just below. Even then you don't get cold anywhere wearing
only light clothing to walk in with. One side note is that I also keep it in my
vehicle during the winter!!! Living in MN we get some nasty weather and this could
very well be a life and limb saver for sure!!! Buy one for all your loved ones and
make sure they have it with them. I'm getting one now for my wife and also telling
my grown children to do the same. Thank you for an awesome product that actually
lives up to its advertising and then some. I'm 58 years old and this is the first
time I've ever written any company to thank them for their superior item. Top notch
and then some.
With much thanks again,

I am a female bow hunter who's 5'4" and about 130 lbs. Hunting clothes are just very
difficult to work with especially once the weather gets cold and you must layer your
clothes. By the time I would layer up all my clothing (typically most being cut for
a male not a female) I literally felt like a snowman and could barely climb up my
ladder sticks let alone pull back my bow. And I STILL got cold! I would pack heat
packs everywhere on my body, bought I don't know how many styles of hunting gear and
still ended up cold. I had heard about this suit two years ago and honestly laughed
when I first saw it because it looked like a camo sleeping bag with feet! But then
I decided to try it out this year because, frankly, I'm a stubborn female that won't
give up from sitting and hunting all day and it's frustrating when the weather makes
me.
When it was delivered and I got it out of the box, I really didn't think
I would be able to get into this without falling from my tree stand. I got in it on
the ground and thought it was pretty cool. This last weekend we had winds of 25 mph
and in the low 30's. Typically I would have been cold about an hour after being in
the stand because I would have had to layer so many clothes, would have sweated
going in to the stand from a long walk and therefore would have been chilled. I
followed the directions in what to wear, and carried it in with ease. I got into my
stand without struggling and without sweating for once and then put it on. It was
awesome!!! I stayed warm and the cool thing was I had a little head cold so after
awhile had to blow my nose and was able to pull my head inside the suit and blow my
nose without being seen doing it!
I was a little worried that I would look like this big blob in the sky
and was worried deer would spot something strange...but...About 2 hours in the stand
a nice 6 point buck started to head in the direction of my stand. I stood up and
opened it up like instructed and grabbed my bow and the buck never noticed me! He
walked right under my stand! I did pass him up however, because we try to manage
our bucks and let the young ones walk and he wasn't a shooter on our list this year.
But awesome! Stayed warm! When I was done, took it off and easily rolled it back up
in the stand and walked back out!
Thanks a million! From a female that gets cold - this is awesome! I am
recommending it to everyone! And now to sell all those hunting clothes! :)

Hi, I am another completely satisfied customer with my Heater Body Suit that I
purchased before last Fall's Hunting Season in Northern Wisconsin. I wished I had
bought one years ago, instead of procrastinating. I will never have to purchase
expensive warm hunting clothes again!!!
Everyday the temps were from -10°F to +10°F. It was a cold season last year
(2010)...I went to my blind in just long underwear with sweat pants, instead of
bundling up like crazy and then sweating-----and then freezing. You all know the
drill.
Each day I enjoyed sitting in a warm toasty environment for a change and it allowed me to sit longer & quieter, making me a better sitter hunter... I am the worst sitter, but having this Heater Body Suit has gotten me to enjoy it. I would have to open it at times and let some heat out-----now how about that ----there's no sleeping bag in the world where that will ever happen.
Carrying the Heater Body Suit in is a breeze. One night I left the suit in my stand to see how it was going to be crawling inside when it sat out in 10 below weather all night. I was a little skeptical about this, but I needed to try it...it was fantastic!!!! There was no crawling into an icebox. Awesome!!!!!!
This is definitely the best money I have ever spent to be warm and comfortable!!!!!!!!! I am 59 years old, and I have seen a lot of products in my day. This is the best way you will ever have to enjoy being out in the cold!!

Hello Heater Body Suit Folks,
My brother bought a Heater Body Suit 5 years ago and has enjoyed many, many hours of
comfortable hunting ever since. He harvested a Trophy 10 Point White Tail last fall
on opening day of the gun season while sitting in his suit. He lent me the suit the
following day and I was lucky enough to harvest a beautiful 10 pointer myself. It
was a chilly and rainy day and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been in the stand if
I wasn't in a Heater Body Suit. That experience convinced me to purchase one for
myself.
Thanks,

My Heater Body Suit did come into play of course, because I’m always using it during
the rifle season. I refer to this as my “Second Chance” Buck. The particular stand I
was hunting this morning was in extremely thick cover – balsam, maple, alder, aspen -
and the deer feel especially secure. The stand is approximately 20-25 feet from a
major trail that deer use so any shot is a close one. At 7:30am I heard a deer running towards me from the north. I could finally see a doe as she broke into view
about 60 feet away and heard another animal behind her. She was running flat out and
ran right by on the trail
below me. The buck was about 50 feet behind her and his rack and body seemed huge as
he streaked after the doe. I got into position and he ran by me so fast, that even at
25-30 feet, I wasn’t confident enough in my sight picture to squeeze the trigger –
because I only had two small openings to shoot through. As he bounded out of sight I
remembered thinking two thoughts, “Most people probably would have shot anyway” and
secondly, “I’ll probably never see that buck again”. A minute or so later I heard
sounds coming from the same direction where I last saw them and sure enough, it was
the doe running back down the same trail in the opposite direction – right back to
me. The buck was following and I was able to get a good sight picture this “second”
time. I fired when he was about 30 feet away. Another blessing from God…whew!

I did use my new Heater Body Suit this year, it wasn't real cold out this year,
somewhere in the low teens...I sat out in the woods for 3 days from 5:00 in the
morning until about 6:00 at night... Never did I get cold much less even have a
chill. On my fourth day of sitting in the woods thinking this may be the 1st year I
never shoot a deer. A monster 13 point buck walked out on to my trail just as the
sun was going down and I blasted him.... The Heater Body Suit worked up to it name
and kept me warm the whole time.... Thank You!!!
I have recommended your product to everyone I know that hunts...

First off I would like to start by saying ---THANK YOU for making a great product. I
recently received a Heater Body Suit for Christmas, after asking for one for a while,
I hunted in it for 12 hours, in heavy snow, 20 mph winds, and temps that never got

A Wounded Warrior Hunts with the Heater Body Suit:
Ok, I'm in my stand: it’s 0645 and the sun is just now starting to lighten up the
horizon. This morning, the wind is calm and it's said to be 28 degrees. I can already
hear deer rustling in the leaves. Today, I am trying out "The Heater Body Suit". It
looks like a giant pair of coveralls with no arm holes. Or I guess you could call
it a sleeping bag with leggings. I waited until I started to chill and then I put
it on. Fifteen minutes in the suit and I'm nice and toasty. The suit goes over
everything, including your boots. My feet are warm as ever now. 45 minutes have
gone by, it is daylight now and I am taking off my jacket. I was starting to sweat!
The greatest advantage that I have noticed about this suit is when I need to make a
shot; I can drop it off my shoulders and make a shot without having to worry about
the bow string hitting my sleeves. Tom Schneider, you have definitely made an
excellent piece of gear that every hunter should take to the woods with them. It not only keeps you warm, but
it could also be used in an emergency in cold weather. It is absolutely amazing how
fast it warms you up. By the way, there are no batteries required. It strictly works
off your own body heat. There are extra booties that I put on as well. I had to take
them back off. My feet were on fire! Maybe I should have taken my boots off?? I would
have killed to have this suit yesterday! Do I really have to give it back? This is one
piece of gear that I am going to invest in when I get back home.

Dear Folks:
I'm 62 years old now and the cold is really starting to get to this old hunter's
bones. Without the Heaterbodysuit I wouldn't be hunting anymore - that's a fact. The
other day I harvested this mature doe with a wind chill of 14°F while hunting on
the ground. I've hunted in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania
with my Heater Body Suit and won't go in the field without it. I remember many years
ago I would buy a new hunting system every two years, trying to find the latest and
greatest gear to try and stay warm. After one season of hunting with the Heater Body
Suit I sold all my outrageously expensive woolen gear and now I simply change the
under layers to fit the conditions of the day. Finally, after ten years of hard
hunting with your system, I can honestly say that I've saved thousands of dollars and
see no reason to change.
Best Regards,

I appreciate you creating such a great product! I just recently received the Heater
Body Suit as a gift from my dad, after almost 20 years of hearing me talk about being
cold in the woods : ) I must say I was a little skeptical at first, but it honestly
has solved all of my problems and I can now sit so comfortably in a tree (even all
day long if I would like)...and did I mention how much I love the fact that I don't
have to wear bulky clothes anymore?! Again, thank you...you really have a great

I borrowed one of your suits from a friend of mine last year for hunting in Ohio in
mid January. For the four days I hunted, the temperatures ranged from 15-30°F. I
used the suit with my normal fall hunting clothes and I was nerver cold. I was able to
stay in my tree stand from sun up to sun down and be comfortable! I ended up shooting
a 200 pound, 10 point, whitetail deer with a muzzle loader. There is no way I would
have been able to stay on stand that long without this suit.
Thanks,

To the Staff and Employees of the Heater Body Suit,
After a 2009 Archery Mule Deer Hunt with my son Alan, we were miserable
and half frozen. In January 2010 we purchased 2 Heater Body Suits for our November
21st 2010 hunt. On November 22nd after 5 hours in my ground blind at -2°F wearing
your suit, I arrowed a 250 pound buck and was very comfortable and warm. I couldn't
have done it without your product, the Heater Body Suit! Congratulations to your
employees and staff for helping me make this happen. Some of the hunters in our camp
will be calling you to purchase the suits also.
Thanks again, an old bow hunter,
Gary Clane |

HEATER BODY SUIT – How did I hunt without it!!
Product: Heater Body Suit.
Product Description: A garment
tailored after a sleeping bag design to keep you warm no matter what the conditions
are in the field. This garment has no arms, has two legs, suspender straps inside to
keep it from falling down when you slip out of it, and a large silent zipper down the
front. It is insulated, wind proof and water resistant. It comes in six sizes, three
different camo patterns and has other accessories like a snow camo coverall.
Thoughts and Comments: The Heater
Body Suit has been on the market for some time now. I never gave it much thought as I
considered it just another hunting gimmick. Then, after repeated great accolades from
some of the best hunters in the industry I decided it was time to check it out.
Three weeks ago my new suit arrived at the door in Ground Swat Tactical Camo, just a
few days before my two week Ohio rut hunt. After washing, drying and spraying it down
with the Triple-X Silver Scent Spray which comes with the suit, per the instructions,
I was ready to go.
After using the suit for two weeks straight, all I can say is “HOW DID I EVER LIVE AND
HUNT WITHOUT THE HEATER BODY SUIT!!!” I hunted ten days straight for approximately
eleven hours per day. The temperatures ranged from 18 to 45 degrees, and never once
did I become uncomfortable or cold. Other than a hat, facemask and gloves, all I wore
was a light Scent-Lok base layer, a light Scent-Lok outer layer and a safety harness.
In freezing temperatures I would walk to my stand in my light clothes, climb into my
stand, climb into my suit which was easier than expected, and I was set for the day.
At first I was worried about what the deer would do if they saw me in this garment,
but once again the suit proved its worth. Any deer that looked up at me and my camera
man, who were both in Heater Body Suits, never paid us any mind. The large “blobs” in
the tree never set off any alarms for the deer.
The windproof feature especially seemed to help with scent control. During the entire
week only a couple of deer seemed to get a whiff of human scent, which as everyone
knows is tough in the hill country, and they never blew or got overly alarmed. I could
move around within the suit all day long and not be seen. Then, when it came to
shooting my bow it was a breeze. Everyone knows how hard it gets to shoot when you
have all of your winter clothes on. Not in the Heater Body Suit!!!!! The silent zipper
worked flawlessly and it was easy to slip out of the suit. The suit automatically wen
behind me due to the suspender straps and it was just like shooting in the summer in
my light weight clothes.
Finally, when it comes to cost, the Heater Body Suit probably costs half as much as a
good set of bibs, vest, jacket, under garments, boot covers, rain wear, hand warmers,
heavy gloves etc. Over the years there really have not been many hunting items that
changed what I use in the field to hunt, but I will have to say that the Heater Body
Suit will probably get my “product of the year award” as I now know that I will never
hunt without one again!!!!!

I just got back from hunting whitetails in the Duck Mountains in Manitoba, Canada.
The weather at the beginning of the week started out around 20°F and with my
normal winter gear I had no problem hunting all day. All of us had the Heater Body
Suits I just didn’t think that I needed it, so for the first 4 days of the hunt I did
without it and survived. By the 4th day of the hunt the temperature was near 0°F
so I decided to take the Heater Body Suit out for the long walk to the stand, good
thing I did because it started to snow and the wind was blowing hard directly into my
face, the wind chill was well into negative numbers, I could not believe how warm I
stayed in the Heater Body Suit it was just so warm and cozy all I wanted to do was
sleep. The next 2 days were a true test for the Heater Body Suit, on Friday the
temperature was -13°F and Saturday the temperature was -29°F. On these 2 days
any part or your body that was exposed would freeze very quickly, but as soon as I
got into my stand and into the suit all was good, I hunted for 8.5 hours in -29°F
weather and was warm all day thanks to your Heater Body Suit. I would have lost 3
days of hunting if I hadn’t brought the Heater Body Suit it was definitely worth
every penny that I spent.
Thanks!

Dear Heater Body Suit,
My brother in law purchased a heater body suit for me this year (I built him his
deer stand :-)). Wisconsin 2010 Deer Opener with a high of 21°F with gusty winds
at 21 feet in a tree stand all day was brutal. The Heater Body Suit enabled me to
stay on stand all day....I could not have done that without it!

I'm telling you all...GREAT DAMN JOB!!!!!!! I'm sure I'm not the only person to tell
you this, but the suit works exactly as described and then some. I sat in the
Northern Minnesota blizzard last Saturday for 10 hours, with only my Russell APX
fleece layers on with boots, WOW!!! I didn't see ONE deer, but that was ok because I
quickly turned into a Heater Body Suit Field Tester and decided to stick it out until
the weather drove me off, but 10 hours later I guess I had to leave as dark came and
my stomach needed attention. Had I not forced myself to leave I could have easily
slept in it the entire night, THAT IS FOR SURE.
THANK YOU for producing such an awesome product. John Schaffer (Schaffer Performance
Archery) highly recommended it and after seeing it in mags for the past couple of
years I finally made the jump. It was either this or the Warm Bag, but since I didn't
want to order, wait, and possibly have to send back via mail and so forth, I walked
into the Schaffer Performance Archery store, saw a few boxes on the floor and
voila...decision made. He told me how he shot a buck a few weeks ago up north in
Fergus Falls, Minnesota and I was an instant catch.
Again AWESOME!!!

I purchased a Heater Body Suit last January in preparation for this year's winter
Illinois deer season. I had the opportunity to use it three times. First, was in
early December, Illinois shotgun season, temperatures 19 to 29 degrees. I sat all
day in an exposed treestand without a hint of a chill and the last shooting light of
that day shot a nice buck. Second time was a true test. Late December Illinois
shotgun season temps for the two days I hunted were -3 to 9 degrees. I dressed the
same as the first time, (just 3 light weight garments) but used the booties and again
never felt the hint of a chill coming on. I had no opportunties at any deer but again
I was able to sit all day in the elements. What was truly unbelievable was after 6
hours of sitting I began to relax because in the past I would have been frozen, but
when I realized that I was going stay warm I really enjoyed the hunt. Third time was
the late winter January Illinois anterless season. Temps were 19-30 degrees and once
again no problem getting into the suit and snugged in for the wait but at 8:20 a nice
doe showed up and I was able to quickly get out of the suit and make a shot to bring
her down. I have to say it was well worth the investment and that I never again will
worry about the cold keeping me from getting out in the late seasons.
Thanks,

I am thrilled with my Heater Body Suit. I had never heard of them before until last
weekend. I ordered it on Sunday, it shipped out Monday and I received it on
Wednesday. I was able to use it the last three days of gun season and was I glad I
had it. One day it was 21 degrees F with a 10 mile an hour wind and I was so
comfortable I napped for about an hour, 20 feet in the air in my climber. (I hope no
deer passed by) It is truly a heck of an advantage to be able to stay warm enough to
stick in there on even the coldest days. It seemed like a big expenditure at the
time, but it’s hard to put a price tag on being comfortable in the middle of winter
for 11-12 hours.
My Warmest Regards,

In North Dakota, it gets so cold that some days you simply cannot hunt or they would
find you frozen, dead in the spring. "No Gruff" says Jim Shockey on TV, it works. So,
I ordered a Heater Body Suit to try it. On December 18th, I sat in my blind for 5
hours before I got the shot. I unzipped the suit, and since I was warm, I was able
to slowly draw back. The pin instantly stopped on the deers heart, and the buck only
went 35 yeards. Ok Jim, no gruff, the Heater Body Suit works!

Not that cold in Wisconsin this season, but sitting in a Heater Body Suit is still

I shot this 10 pointer on Thanksgiving morning in Ashland County. Had an inch of
snow the night before so the temperature was in the high teens and the Heater Body
Suit kept me warm. I shot this buck by sitting the old fashion way – on a 5 gallon
pail with the back to a tree.
Thanks for a great product!

Dear Heater Body Suit Company,
I originally purchased one of your Heater Body Suits on the recommendation of Jeff
Murray who said all you need is a good hat if you use one. He was right and I now
own two of your Heater Body Suits…one for me and the second one for a friend or
family member. From the first use I have been sold on the quality of the product and
its ability to deliver on the promise to keep hunters warm. I am an all-day hunter
and some of my stands are remote and require quite a hike through rugged country.
The HBS allows me to dress very light and ease into these stands without generating
a sweat. The attached photo is one more piece of evidence of the benefits of your
product. I almost didn’t hunt the sixth day of the 2008 Minnesota firearms season
because I awoke to a combination of snow and rain – tough conditions to stay dry and
warm in when on stand. Hunters intuition told me to head out and enjoy the day
despite the weather conditions. I was in my stand at 5:45am and patiently waited.
The rainy conditions even prevented me from reading – one of my favorite past-times
while on stand. At 1:20pm, seven and a half hours later, this mature 8-point buck
stepped out in front of me at 75 feet. I thank God for every trip into the woods and
for every deer I harvest but I’m also thankful that many years ago I decided to
purchase your product. It continues to keep me warm, retains some scent, and allows
me to spend an entire day on stand in extremely cold conditions. One of my tips is
to also put your food for the day and thermoses into the legs of the HBS while on
stand. This doesn’t restrict your movement much, keeps the food from freezing, and
retains the scent inside the suit.
Thanks…

First, I want to thank you for an awesome product you have to offer! This is the
second Heater Body Suit I have owned and I wouldn't go into the woods without it on
a cold day.
I harvested this 164-4/8" BC 12-point whitetail deer in south east Iowa during the
1st gun season, December 6, 2008. I was sitting on the ground next to a tree in my
heater body suit when this giant buck appeared, and I was able to make a 54 yard shot
with my shotgun and slug. What a thrill! My Heater Body Suit kept me warm and
comfortable, allowing me to be ready when the moment of truth happened. I have also
harvested a few deer while archery hunting in the Heater Body Suit.
Thank you for developing such a great product.

My bow-hunting experience with Whitetail had only been in Texas. I would scout out a
place to set up a 6-12 foot tripod. Then I would mark it on my GPS and become real
familiar with the land. The temperature usually ranged between 40°-70°.
Because of the hotter weather, I personally hunted about 3 hours in the morning and
3 hours in the afternoon.
Canada brought a number of firsts for me. I was dropped off in the dark of the
morning and picked up in the dark of night. I sat in a climber 20 feet up a Poplar
tree all day. I had not a clue where I was or the activity of the deer. The
temperature stayed between 10°-20° all day with snow flurries most of the
time. The biggest one was the quality and number of heart-thumping Whitetails.
The first morning was comical to say the least. Trying to maneauver the climber
over knots, around the tree, all the while sawing off small limbs to get 20 feet
high in the tree and that was only the first step. Step two, setting up by screwing
in the bow hanger and hooks for the backpack, attaching the safety harness, getting
into the heater body suit, and an hour had already passed. With all the commotion, I
was running off all the deer as they were trying to come in, and to top it off my
guide was rolling with laughter at me. Finally, after a rough beginning, things
started to setting down and the deer came in. After all day practicing getting in
and out of my new heater body suit and getting draws on smaller deer, I was
overcoming all my "firsts" and gaining confidence. I felt like I could successfully
bow-hunt in Canada.
The hunting was slow the second day, but my climbing and setting up in the tree
were greatly improved. By the third day, things were going smoothly. Everything
like maneauvering the climber, hanging up my equipment, and getting set up were
becoming easier. I filmed about 7 to 8 deer between 145-165 class deer. After
taking a better look at the 165 class buck, I decided if he came back I would try
to get him. About 45 minutes before legal shooting time, he came back. The
temperature was about 10°F, cloudy, and a light snow was falling. I maneauvered
out of the heater body suit and after about 15 minutes of the deer not cooperating
and giving me an ethical shot, I was shivering so much I had to put my bow up and
climb back in my suit and watch the deer walk off. As the sun went down on a great
day of seeing the world class deer, I knew where I wanted to set up for the next
day.
The fourth day started off just as the third day eneded, a wet, cold 10°F with lots
of deer movement. As the morning progressed, the temperature rose to 20°F and the
sun came out. The snow that had been lightly falling also stopped which made the
conditions for hunting perfect. At about 11:30, while I was snacking on a cookie,
an eight-point deer came in with the Unicorn Buck behind him. I quickly finished my
cookie and unzipped by body suit. The buck was about 40 yards from me and it seemed
like he was looking straight at me. All I could do was close my eyes and pray that
he was still coming in. Then I opened my eyes and there he was, still coming in. I
shifted my shoulders, slipped off the body suit, lifted my bow, knocked an arrow,
and then the wait began. After what seemed like hours of heart-throbbing excitement,
the buck was still facing me head on. That's when my luck changed. A couple of does
were approaching; and as one was invading the bait site, the buck bowed up and
chased the doe off. Meanwhile, an eight-point buck was within 10 yards and another
doe was on his left side. The buck turned broadside and settled down. I came to a
full draw only to let the buck take one too many steps, putting his vitals behind a
tree. Being at a full draw with three other deer within 20 yards, the buck finally
took one more step. I released the arrow between two trees and heard the loud
"whack". The arrow had hit home, striking the vitals perfectly. I watched him for
about 50 yards as he started up a hill. He staggered backwards and disappeared
behind the only cedar tree in the area. That was the longest 30 minutes, sitting
there making sure he had expired. As I walked up on him, I noticed he had a third
petical (horn) coming out of the middle of his head.
Over the past few years, one of the most important lessons I have learned about
bow-hunting is that you must adapt quickly to all circumstances in order to have a
successful hunt. Sometimes even with people laughing at all your mistakes, you end
up with the last laugh. The Unicorn Whitetail scored 184-7/8 gross and 180-1/2
net Pope and Young and 189-1/8 SCI Whitetail.

I hunted with my Heater Body Suit during Illinois' first and second firearms
seasons and had great success. During the first firearms season, I harvested a 23
point nontypical white-tailed buck that green scored 221 6/8. I also shot a mature
8 point buck on opening day of the second firearms season. It was windy and cold.
The Heater Body Suit worked great and kept me warm. I have recommended the Heater
Body Suit to many of my friends. Thanks for a great product. Check out my buck.

I just returned from a "once in a lifetime" hunt at the Hashknife Ranch in Kansas.
We hunted hard all week and on my last day to hunt the temperature plummeted and
the wind was blowing 20mph.... undoubtedly, without the Heater Body Suit I would
have had to climb out of the treestand early and never had an opportunity at my
first whitetail with a bow... not only that, but I witnessed over a dozen mature
(over 5 years old) bucks respond to rattling and chase does for over 5 hours...
harvesting is one thing, but being able to stay long enough to witness an outdoor
event like that was priceless!
My guide gutted the lousy conditions out, but certainly wished he had a Heater
Body Suit! You have got a great product that can really make the outdoor experience
not only more productive, but enjoyable!

I just wanted to say the Heater Body Suit is the best thing I've ever used for
cold weather. I used my brother's Heater Body Suit the other day while it was 28°F

I just wanted to thank the Heater Body Suit Company for their quick response on
how to properly maintain and take care of my Heater Body Suit. Also the photo is of
the 8 pointer I shot last year at 7:25am from a distance of 11 yards. The
temperature that morning was 18°F.
My best friend Brian introduced me to the sport over 22 years ago (that's his 9
pointer next to mine shot the same morning). Up until I purchased the Heater Body
Suit, I had been battling the bitter cold. As a child I did get frostbite on my
hands & feet, which has made for many miserasble and dangeroushours in the tree.
There have been occasions when my hands and feet were so cold that Brian has had
to come to the tree and help me down and carry all my gear back as I run to the
truck to warm up, but NOT anymore. These past 2 seasons have been the best for
the sport that I love. The Heater Body Suit has made it possible for me to spend
as many hours as I wish in the woods bowhunting (even all day). I will admit when
I first saw the Heater Body Suit ad in a magazine about 10 years ago I laughed,
but thought not a bad idea. Well many years later with $1000's spent on others
warm clothing apparal and 2 scary situations in the tree I BOUGHT one. Sure enough
when I brought it out for our first outting Brian laughed "How are you going to
shoot anything with that on?" I showed him how it worked at camp, he still seemed
a little skeptical. Well 4 bucks & 4 does later with a bow and 4 more with the
muzzle loader he has changed his tune. I explained to Brian it has not only kept
me extremely comfortable, it has also made me a better hunter. I no longer make
any quick jerky moves, I'm warm and loose for every shot. On all the shots so far
(bow & muzzle loader) the deer never knew I was there. I could go on & on
about your product and customer service, it's OUTSTANDING, but there would be 20
pages to read. My only regret is that I didn't purchase the suit 10 years ago, I
missed some great oppurtunities. That will no longer happen thanks to the Heater
Body Suit.

Hello, I am Scott Hendrickson, and I had the opportunity to use a Heater Body Suit
several times this hunting season. The first time was filming the Army with
Timberline Adventures during the rifle season. It was a life saver as there was a
brisk, damp northeast wind. With the Heater Body Suit, I was able to sit all day.
The second time was during the late season of bow hunting. It was only about 6°F
and dead calm out. The Heater Body Suit kept me warm and comfortable during the
hunt. Fortunately, I was warm enough to draw back on this buck!
Thank you Heater Body Suit!

Just wanted to express my satisfaction with the Heater Body Suit. I purchased one
for my first hunt in Saskatchewan, Canada in November of 2006. My biggest fear about
sitting in a blind all day was the extreme cold temperatures I have heard so much
about in Northern Canada. I get cold really easily, but with the Heater Body Suit I
was able to sit 4 1/2 days in total comfort. Being my first trip to a place like
that, I didn't know what to expect. The "veterans" I was hunting with told me to be
patient if I wanted to kill a real big deer. Although I was seeing some bucks that
anyone in Vermont would have shot without thinking twice, with the suit I was able
to sit tight till mid day on day five. When the first deer of the day stepped out a
little before 11:00am, it was a no brainer. Without the Heater Body Suit I probably
would have shot a buck earlier in the week and never even seen this one. See the
photo of my 180 7/8 gross, 172 1/8 net B&C buck. Not bad for a first timer.
Thanks again to the Heater Body Suit. You can bet I will be going back someday with
suit in hand.

I just wanted to drop a note and tell you something that you already know, and this
Heater Body Suit really works. I was so impressed that I could hunt in 15°F
weather with wind blowing 20 to 25 miles per hour, this is one of the best
investments that I have made for hunting in a long time!
I happened to be hunting deer at a field edge with a friend of mine this weekend
and I actually felt sorry for him while he sat there shaking and I was wiping sweat
from my brow.
Absolutely incredible!
Thank you for the quick shipping, I actually received the suit when you said I would.

My wife purchased the Heater Body Suit last year as a Christmas gift. I finally
had a chance this hunting season to try it and I was simply amazed on how well the
Heater Body Suit performed. I basically wore my bow hunting clothes all year.
I could never find a way to keep warm. I must have spent hundreds if not thousands
of dollars trying to stay warm. I would recommend the Heater Body Suit to anyone who
has ever been cold.
Thank you for a wonderful product!

I spoke with the company about 2 months ago after I called about getting more
information on the Heater Body Suit. I thought when I called that I would get
some operator that would know squat about the product. I was surprised to have
the owner answer the phone and give me the answers I needed! I was reluctant
to spend $350 for what I thought would be just another product to take up room
in my closet.
Tom said, "If you get cold, just send it back, no questions, no nothing and I will
refundyour money." That is a promise that is not made enough these days let
alone stood behind.
The Heater Body Suit hands down is the warmest and best product I have ever bought
and used. I am truly amazed that I can sit in long johns and pants and sweatshirt
when it is 27°F and be warm! The coldest so far was 8°F with freezing
rain/sleet and I was warm and comfortable!! I cannot say enough good about my
Heater Body Suit. I wish I bought one years ago. I laugh now because when other
hunters are leaving the woods at 9 am because of being cold, I watch the deer they
stir up as they leave.
Tom, told me on the phone that after he used the Heater Body Suit he called
and asked for a job. I have a full-time job but want to ask the same thing.
Can I help sell these for you here in Illinois?
Thanks again for an amazing product!

I purchased my Heater Body Suit in early 2007 in anticipation of my November
2007 Saskatchewan hunting trip. I first learned of the Heater Body Suit from
watching the Sportsman Channel "Just Killing Time" television program.
I sent an email question to "Just Killing Time" and received a response from
"Buck" praising the warmth of the Heater Body Suit. Having endured a very cold
Saskatchewan, Canada, hunt in 2000, I took Buck's advice and purchased my own
Heater Body Suit. This was my second hunt to Saskatchewan and the first time
that I was completely warm and comfortable, all day long.
The Heater Body Suit performed exactly as it is advertised. I remained warm and
dry despite strong wind, snow, and cold temperatures.
P.S. I am also glad I purchased the Snow White Coverall and Knapsack.
The knapsack was so roomy that it allowed me to easily carry in my Heater
Body Suit and other gear to my stand.
Thank you for making a great product that performed as advertised!

I wanted to send a picture of me in my Heater Body Suit after my recent hunt in
Nebraska. Last year, it was -23°F wind chill during the December muzzle loader
hunt. Luckily, it was only 23°F this year for rifle season. The Heater Body
Suit allows me to hunt and stay warmerlonger with less clothes on, which is nice
being a quadriplegic and not having a lot of circulation.
Thanks for keeping me warm! :)

Being a sun up to sun down bow and rifle hunter, I cannot say enough of the
merits of this Heater Body Suit. However, I had an incident this winter, I was
on a cross state trip during one of the area's coldest spells in a few years
that really shows the effectiveness of this product. Due to work constraints,
I found myself making a road trip across Wisconsin during a brutal evening of
-10°F with 15 to 20 mph winds pushing wind chills to incredible extremes.
In addition, the winds were picking up recent cold weather snow and drifting it
across the highway. Cautiously running the interstate in my 3/4 ton truck, I was
passed by an inexperienced driver speeding in one of those 4 cylinder "hot rods."
After passing me he lost control, and at one point had vanished partially from view
looking across my hoodline. I was forced to take evasive action for fear that if we
collided, I would have gone right over him. I quickly shifted down to four wheel
drive as I slowed and tried to hug two wheels in the gravel to hold out of the
ditch, but had to steer lower to avoid the cars wheel locked skids. He managed to
avoid the deep snow-filled trench in-between northbound and southbound lans...I did
not. I was able to drive the ditchline to get into position to try pulling back onto
the roadway, but not being able to lunge up one the roadway because of fear of
causing a major accident on the busy highway, I was forced to wait for emergency
vehicles.
While waiting I became concerned over my fuel situation, and the fact that I had
sunk deeper while idling and snow was constantly drifting over the rear corner
of my truck and exhaust pipe. Sitting in the cold truck, I then realized just
how cold and deadly these temperatures could be to someone unprepared. I had
hunted in similar weather many times, but with proper attire. It was then I
remembered I had some assorted bow hunting equipment in the back of my truck,
one being my Heater Body Suit! I put it on and I was rather relieved to find
myself quite comfortable and at times had to open it up to cool down so as not
to perspire.
I'd like to say I spent the entire night sitting, and it saved my life; however,
things were not that dramatic. I did spend well over an hour in street clothes with
no gloves, hat, or boots. I had to pull my head down into the suit periodically to
warm my face and ears as I sadly had not ordered my suit with a hood! I chose not
to periodically run my truck due to exhaust and fuel concerns. I did cycle my
flashers, so emergency road crews could help out as some point.
This is an amazing product. I have never dressed down to that extreme during
any of my hunts, but now feel confident to do so while using the Heater Body
Suit. I just wanted to let you know how very satisfied I am with your product.
I will be adding it to my cold travel emergency kit that I now stow on every
winter trip.

I hate your Heater Body Suit! I sat out this past Saturday evening in 11°F.
Two problems:
1. I kept nodding off I was
so comfortable.
2. I dreaded getting out of it after sunset to go home!
Seriously, I know of NOTHING else that would keep me on stand for 4 hours in
mid-December with an 11°F air temperature.
Thanks for a GREAT product!

The Ultimate in Cold Weather Protection:
Have you ever left your deer stand earlier than you had planned because you got
too cold? Have you ever found yourself fidgeting and moving around on stand in
an effort to stay warm? Or have you fought the cold for so long that the hunt
became a self-inflicted torture test instead of being fun? If the answer to any
of these questions is yes, then read on, because you do not ever have to be cold
on deer stand again.
The Heater Body Suit is the ultimate in cold weather deer hunting clothing. No
heavy batteries to lug around, no wires to kink at the wrong time. The Heater
Body Suit works on a very simple principle, trap the heat your body generates.
Picture a sleeping bag with giant feet. When you crawl inside of your Heater Body
Suit, boots and all, and zip that baby up, the cold stays out and the heat stays
in, it is really that simple.
And believe me once you have one of these babies, you won't wait until the
mercury gets on the wrong side of zero to use it. Like most serious hunters, when
the rut is on, I try to hunt bell-to-bell every chance I get. Temperatures in
the teens and 20's are common during the rut in the north country. Those kinds of
temperatures are easy to take for an hour or two, but the cold gets down to your
bones when you start talking about eight to ten hours in the stand. My Heater Body
Suit has taken the torture out of those all day vigils. And being a Minnesota
native, I always thought that anyone who complained about being cold while hunting
south of the Mason-Dixon was a real wimp. Wrong again! I recall in painful detail a
mid-December hunt in Mississippi, when I would have gladly traded my bow for a
Heater Body Suit. And then there was the time in south Texas when what the
cowboys down there call a "blue norther" roared through. Thought I was going to
freeze to death. Today, I don't travel anywhere without my Heater Body Suit.
Your initial reaction to the Heater Body Suit is likely to very similar to mine.
"Great idea I thought, but how is a guy supposed to shoot a gun, much less a bow
while all wrapped up in some glorified sleeping bag". Thanks to well-designed
shoulder straps the upper portion of the suit falls away quietly and easily with
a minimum of movement. I've used the suit a lot and I have yet to spook a deer
while preparing for the shot.
If you are serious about cold weather deer hunting, this is a product you should
look into.

I just thought I'd give you a little testimonial which has repeated itself dozens
of times in the past three years. I film from September to January for a variety
of TV shows in every imaginable situation. My Heater Body Suit has become standard
equipment for tree stand hunting. This past November while filming a whitetail show
for Realtree in Wyoming it was truly unbearably cold with biting, icy wind, and
intermittent snow showers. Hunting had been extremely slow. My cameraman
(a new one for this assignment) was perched in a small lock-on stand directly
above mine. After a few hours I could feel the tree shaking as he began to shiver
and shake. When I finally decided to hang-it-up for the morning I whispered into
the mic and asked if he was ready to get down. He replied that he wasn't sure if
he could since his feet & hands had long since gone numb. I stood up and unzipped
my suit which I had put on while he was hanging the camera and checking his gear.
His eyes popped as he watched me emerge from the warm cocoon, stating, "I thought
you had to be the toughest person I'd ever met if you could sit still in this
weather. What kind of deal were you wearing? I've never seen anything like that?"
As I said, this same scenario is relived many times each season during my
excursions. There have been times when I actually slept in my suit in hunting
camps when there was not enough heat.
Thanks for a great product!
